Welsh Community Impact From Forces Fitness

Welsh Community Impact From Forces Fitness

In support of objectives set-out within the Police & Crime Plans of Gwent and South Wales, police buying teams are using the Pluggin Marketplace to channel supplier social value into established activities from a number of local charities and social enterprises; all having proven their impact from Police & Crime Commissioner grants.

Forces Fitness is a Community Interest Company founded and led by veterans, chosen to be underpinned by the social value within Gwent and South Wales police procurement.

This award winning social enterprise works within the communities of Wales supporting long-term community health, safety and resilience objectives of Police & Crime Plans of Gwent & South Wales.

Led by veterans and serving military personnel, Forces Fitness deliver a proven portfolio of activities that provide benefit to:

  • local youth groups,
  • children in the community who are at risk of exploitation and NEET,
  • young adults and school aged children within settings,
  • minority groups, including children and young adults in some of Wales' most deprived areas.

Supplier social value is now supporting this community impact and being locked within contracts...

Businesses who supply goods and services to Gwent and South Wales emergency services, local authorities, NHS Wales and criminal justice service can now lock-in social value as a direct or indirect support the long-term impact from Forces Fitness.

Within the Gwent and South Wales areas of the  Pluggin Marketplace, supplier businesses bidding for contracts can now click through the link buttons below to find out more about key impact activities of the Forces Fitness team and how to support these.
