We've created a powerful support for community filmmaking and digital media, which captures the reality of change taking place...

Our Pluggin Studios exists as a not-for-profit support for our charity & social enterprise members, and as an independent film unit to capture the "fly-on-the-wall" realities of social value evolving within UK communities.

We want teams to move away from static images...

Too many charities and social enterprises rely upon taking static pictures of their important events, and then they stick them into their social media posts as updates hoping that people will take the time to then read the text which explains what the event was about.

To short video stories which build engagement...

The Pluggin Studios provides mobile-based learning & development to help charity and social enterprise teams to quickly capture, edit and produce short video updates which are shared on-the-move. Our ecosystem then becomes the perfect platform to reach audiences waiting to like and follow.

This is professional development so that teams can tell the story of impact on the move... building awareness and engagement.

Our Professional Film Unit

The  jewel in the Pluggin Studios crown.

Launched in 2023, our Film Unit has quickly evolved into an invaluable "fly-on-the-wall" channel lifting the lid on the people, activities and impact within the Pluggin Marketplace.

Deep within some of the UK's most at risk communities, we capture the realities of social change and impact being sustained through the spending of our public bodies.

In just 2 years, the unit has evolved into:

A live-learning environment for young people with a passion for storytelling, a way to practice the theory alongside film industry specialists.

A career pathway for those young people formally studying film and digital media at college of university, where our paid commissions have enabled them to start-up their micro-businesses.

As our ecosystem continues to evolve and grow, the Pluggin Studios will grow the alumni of talent and continue to work at the heart of communities - making local young filmmakers the digital storytellers.
