Care of Police Survivors (COPS) is a charity that supports the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty.
COPS was founded in 2003 by survivor Christine Fulton MBE and the late Jim McNulty, a Strathclyde Police Detective.
Since 2003, COPS has helped support hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.
COPS teams provide practical and emotional support for bereaved families, ensuring survivors have the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and that they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives.
Social value within police buying, will now underpin this support across the UK

Police suppliers can now bid for contracts with social value which supports COPS!
The charity is being supported across UK policing, through the social value from suppliers awarded contracts across over £3 billion of annual spending on goods and services.
Businesses who supply or seek to supply into UK policing, can choose to deliver their social value through the Pluggin Marketplace's link to COPS; opening a dialogue with the team at COPS and then agreeing the specific support being offered.
