This website is owned and managed by Pluggin Ecosystem Limited (trading as Pluggin) and is intended for use by charities & social enterprises, public bodies, businesses and academic institutions in the United Kingdom.  By using and joining the website, you are deemed to have agreed to the following terms and conditions. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms, please leave the website immediately.

Access to our website

  1.    Access to and use of our website and DICM Social Value Marketplace is free of charge.
  2.   Access to our website is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis.  We may alter, suspend or discontinue our website (or any part of it) at any time and without notice.  We will not be liable to you in any way if our website (or any part of it) is unavailable at any time and for any period.

 Intellectual Property Rights

  1. The copyright of all content on our website belongs to us or has been licensed to us unless specifically labelled otherwise.

Ecosystem Membership Subscription

  1. When you click to submit your Sign-up Form online as a prospective Business/CSE/Buyer/University member, you are making an offer to subscribe to the ecosystem and member services in accordance with these Terms.
  2. Our acceptance of your Membership request will take place once:
    • a completed Sign-up Form has been received by us;
    • our due diligence checks on your Sign-up Form have been satisfied; and
    • we have confirmed in writing (by e-mail to the e-mail address specified in your Sign-up Form) your access credentials and our acceptance of your application to be a Member.
  1. We reserve the right to refuse any Sign-up Form at our complete discretion. If we refuse your Sign-up Form, we will inform you of our decision to do so as soon as reasonably practicable.
  2. Specific to Business Members:
    • In support of the UK public contracting process with our buyer members within the ecosystem, we provide them restricted access to a full listing of all business members subscribed to the ecosystem. This listing is not in the public domain and is accessed only by buyer members and as as part of their tendering evaluation processes.
    • There will be no publicity around a new business member subscription, either on our website or via press and marketing activities. 
    • There will be no logo visible of a new business member without their request, nor mention of their membership on the public-facing area of the website, again without their request.
  3. Within the Sign-up Form, a Marketing contact will have been provided to us:
    • All subscriptions include access for marketing teams to the ecosystem's Membership Area via secure login access.
    • Marketing teams can use the Create a Post option to promote their activities and updates (submitting these for review) within the ecosystem newsfeeds inside the regions and areas.
    • We will maintain a monthly email communication with all members' marketing contacts, to support them in utilising the full benefits of the ecosystem to reach our audiences.   
  4. All general ecosystem communications will be sent to this Main Contact at the prescribed email address - on a daily or weekly basis. We accept no responsibility or liability if you do not update the contact details specified in your Sign-up Form.
  5. Membership Subscription can be cancelled at any time, by emailing info@pluggin.org with the subject header stating ‘Membership Cancellation’. Cancellation will be administered within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of any cancellation notification, and will be confirmed by Pluggin email.

Our Liability

  1.    To the fullest extent permissible by law, we accept no liability to any user for any loss or damage, whether foreseeable or otherwise, in contract, tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of (or inability to use) our  website or the use of or reliance upon any content included on our  website.
  2.    To the fullest extent permissible by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and guarantees (whether express or implied) that may apply to our website or any content included on our website.
  3.    We accept no liability for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; loss of anticipated savings; business interruption; or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) our website or its content.
  4.    We exercise all reasonable skill and care to ensure that our website is free from viruses and other malware.  We accept no liability for any loss or damage resulting from a virus or other malware, a distributed denial of service attack, or other harmful material or event that may adversely affect your  hardware, software, data or other material that occurs as a result of your  use of our website (including the downloading of any content from it) or any other website referenced on our website.

Viruses, Malware and Security

  1.    As a member of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (Membership Number 362811900116), we exercise all reasonable skill and care to ensure that our website is secure and free from viruses and other malware.
  2.    You are responsible for protecting your hardware, software, data and other material from viruses, malware, and other internet security risks.
  3.    You must not deliberately introduce viruses or other malware, or any other material which is malicious or technologically harmful either to or via our website.
  4.    You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, the server on which our website is stored, or any other server, computer, or database connected to our website.
  5.    You must not attack our website by means of a denial of service attack, a distributed denial of service attack, or by any other means.
  6.    By breaching the provisions of sections 3, 4 & 5 here, you may be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.  Any and all such breaches will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will cooperate fully with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them.  Your right to use our website will cease immediately in the event of such a breach.

  • Suspend, whether temporarily or permanently, your right to access our website;
  • Issue you with a written warning;
  • Take legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of any and all relevant costs on an indemnity basis resulting from your breach;
  • Take further legal action against you as appropriate;
  • Disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as required or as we deem reasonably necessary; and/or
  • Any other actions which we deem reasonably appropriate (and lawful).
  • We hereby exclude any and all liability arising out of any actions (including, but not limited to those set out above) that we may take in response to breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

Use of Our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy which you can find at and which is hereby  incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by this reference.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We may alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.  Any such changes will become binding on you upon your first use of our website after the changes have been implemented.  You are therefore advised to check this page from time to time.

In the event of any conflict between the current version of these Terms and Conditions and any previous version(s), the provisions current and in effect shall prevail unless it is expressly stated otherwise.
