“Online crime is not confined to attempts by criminals to defraud people or businesses or to hold them to ransom.
It is also used to spread hate, or to sell illegal weapons or substances, or by abusers to take their criminal behaviour online...
“Online offending is as serious as offline offending,”
Cyber security and resilience is one of the biggest threats to small businesses, charities and social enterprises...
We've all seen the evidence which points to an unfortunate fact that smaller organisations do often bear the brunt of cyber crime - a devasting impact on a team and their employment, and profits/community impact.
Many organisations are feeling the real pain of cyber attacks and so it is vital that businesses, charities and social enterprises have the support to build a cyber resilience.
Thanks to our evolving social impact partnership with UK policing, a new cyber security and resilience support exists.
We've teamed-up to ensure our members can protect themselves against cyber crime...
Built-into our DICM social value marketplace which supports UK public procurement, is a strategic support which connects our members into the expertise and support from the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group and their 9 Cyber Resilience Centres.
This is a government funded network of centres comprised of experts from police, private sector and academia; a dedicated approach strengthening national cyber resilience across public procurement supply chains of SMEs, charities and social enterprises.

The 9 regional Cyber Resilience Centres (CRCs) are located across England and Wales to help small organisations strengthen their cyber resilience and better protect themselves and their supply chain against cyber crime.
Enabled by the national Cyber PATH programme, each centre works closely with its local universities to handpick a unique and talented cadre of students, who work alongside senior security practitioners and supervisors to deliver affordable, high-quality cyber resilience services to local organisations.
Yes, we've walked the talk...
As a tech-driven social enterprise ourselves, we recognise our own cyber vulnerability.
We were introduced to the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group by our police partners, and immediately saw the benefit to us and our members. This is fully-funded access to real expertise and carefully designed support. So, we went first and tested the experience for ourselves.

The process of accessing this expertise and support has been made very easy, with in-community events and online communications, and expert-led consultations.
We met with the regional regional cyber resilience centre, who walked through who and what we are then outlined the support available to us.
What followed was a non-intrusive yet professional hand-hold through the whole process - actually an educational experience for us all and this cascaded into our work and thinking.
The results? Well they found things we hadn't even considered, all presented within an easy to digest report.
From December 2025, all our members will have access to support from a cyber resilience centre...
